On behalf of the International Association of Agricultural Medicine and Rural Health (IAAMRH), the International Commission of Occupational Health (ICOH), the Agriculture University of Colombia Foundation, El Bosque University, and the Government of the Republic of Colombia, we cordially greet you.

The 17th Congress of Agricultural Medicine and Rural H welcome you! It will provide opportunities to:

• Hold scientific, social and political discussions that will assure knowledge transfer from, within and across sectors, and between developing and developed countries;
• Sharing and exchanging information, knowledge and experience with agricultural medicine and rural health researchers, scientists and experts coming from all over the world;
• Meeting and greeting people from different disciplines and professions from agricultural, medical, environmental and occupational sciences.
• Count on sharing professional expertise of international associations, governmental agents, public and private institutions, unions and worker’s associations, employer’s association, universities, research centers, community organizations and all other people interested and involved in the agricultural and health sectors of the world.

We greet and welcome you all as of now. We will receive Abstracts from all over the world intending to have a good sample of the work being done on this field around the global village, particularly from all our partners in Latin America, with whom we will organize the Latin American Chapter of IAAMRH.

While visiting Colombia for the first time you will also have the chance to discover the beauty of our Caribbean, the diversity of nature, the richness of our history, the variety of our flora, fauna and agriculture, and the warmth of our hospitality and our people.
